The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced new modalities for candidates to collect Attestation of Results and Certificates from any of its offices in Nigeria.
WAEC says the new modalities on the collection of certificates only apply to private candidates.
Demianus Ojijeogu, Ag Head, Public Affairs WAEC Nigeria, in a statement said both private and school candidates can obtain theirs from any of its offices in Nigeria.
The introduction of this new method is a clear departure from the practices in the past that required candidates to collect their results or certificates from the office of the Council in the state where they had their examination.
According to the statement by the examination body, “The new modalities are a clear departure from what obtained in the past, where it was mandatory for private candidates to collect their certificates or Attestation of Results from the WAEC office in the state where they sat the examination.
